Delete your account
You can ask for your Gloop account and all data associated with it to be deleted at any time, without talking to anyone.
1. From the app
- Open Gloop and sign in to your account.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account, then tap again to confirm.
Deletion is scheduled straight away. You have 7 days to change your mind and undo it in the same place. After that, deletion is final and cannot be reversed.
Deleting the account does not cancel your subscription. The store is the one charging you, and cancelling is done there: on the App Store, under Settings, your name, Subscriptions; on Google Play, Payments and subscriptions. Cancel first, or the charge carries on after the account is gone.
2. If you cannot sign in
Write to legal@gloop.br.com from the email address registered on the account and ask for deletion. We confirm your identity by email before scheduling it.
3. What is erased
- Your account, display name, email and, if there is one, the phone number.
- Your learning profile, identified gaps and progress history.
- Sessions, transcripts and feedback reports.
- The voice recordings kept, including those from quizzes.
- The link between your account and the purchase made in the store. The purchase record itself stays with Apple or Google, who are the sellers.
- Your CV, if you imported one.
4. What may be kept
Only what the law requires us to keep, such as tax records of payments already made. Those records are not used for any other purpose. The details are in the Privacy Policy.
